MotoGP is full of the best motorcycle racers in the world. I’m talking about the kind of people that eat, sleep, and live racing. They’re talented, skilled, and extremely competitive, but even with all of that, very few of them are truly “Great”. By great I mean, they possess that certain special something, that makes them a legend in their own time. People work their whole lives to be remembered for their accomplishments, and very few ever achieve it. To me one of the “Greatest” riders of all time was Marco Simoncelli. He brought a level of intensity and talent to the track, that only a handful of racers have ever possessed.

Unfortunately Marco left this world to early when he had a tragic crash at the Sepang circuit in Malaysia. We’ll remember him in our hearts and minds as being one of the greatest riders of all time. Here’s a video of Marco’s career highlights of 2011.

Remember guys, motorcycles are no joke, even the pro’s can be seriously injured. Always remember to wear your helmet, and protective gear at all times on your bike. Safe Riding!
